Crown Corporation (Migration )

Client profile

This Crown corporation was comprised of 250 work stations and 28 servers.

Meeting the challenges

This corporation wanted to consolidate its server population. Additionally, its computer network relied upon NT4 technology, which is no longer supported by Microsoft. It had obsolete technology whose reliability left much to be desired and that required a considerable amount of material resources.
Edologic suggested migrating to a more up-to-date technology, namely the NT4 from Windows Server 2003.

We also created a consolidation project for the corporation’s computer population. The suggested consolidation enabled the corporation to drastically reduce the number of servers to manage and maintain.

Also, the migration to Windows Server 2003 contributed to improving the network’s reliability.

Subsequently, the corporation’s technicians benefited from a reduction in workload.
